As mine is couped it doesn't matter how much I move charger up but will try and make it work for standered cars aswell . Can somebody measure what room you have between charger and boot lid ? The core and frame will be about 88 mm but I was thinking of making it a wedged shape to level it of

if the charger was raised upwards (and levelled off) then possibly another core or two could be installed ?

Yep that's what I am going for pro alloy will be making me one like this

This is what Jamie's and other super charged Honda conversions use instead of lominovers but I will be running both .;-)
Same pump as CC or seperate
Same pump just y it into the cc system
then straight back to the header

Can't help thinking we need to run the water through a cooler first , I think there is a lot of heat transfere from the engine coolant rad at the front of the car, has anyone measured temp before and after laminovas ??

will do it tomorrow when I get home unless someone does it first m62 also with checking on height available will it have an allowance for the bolt pattern within the case? if it will fit under the boot lid, I wouldn't mind one also Lee

On the M62 there would be around 60mm clearance to standard boot lid From highest point of charger ( engine side )

ASAP as I have a intake and charger so will pop to pro alloy and get one made up I have been quoted about £375 After I have one and proved it works I will sell them on . I think it will work well as it will be stoping heat transferring from charger to intake aswell

Yes it will be the same shape as the gasket so it all bolts up together and will have to make a extension for the waist gate hole aswell

Might be to tight as the core itself is 66mm ,is that dead tight or could you trim boot lid at all ?

Maybe we should have the charger outside the engine cover like the Americans

Not sure if anyone in the UK has, but you could perhaps use a combination of the Dutch firmware upgrade to monitor post laminova temps, and some other form of measurement hooked up to a port in the spacer plate for pre-laminova temps..

Also, use the plate to water injection no?

Something similar to this I guess

That looks good, price is just for the manifold so would we stick with a water cooling or air? anyone dropped him a line to see if he can do one for us? he could just an lsj for a template, wonder where to place the Tmap sensor? also they say the inlet is 2.5 diameter

Surely it need to be water cooled, not air. Water kicks the sh*t out air in terms of thermal conductivity and heat capacity...

Looks like a nice piece of kit though, and something similar with a decent air to water heat exchanger must surely be possible
