Well, I'd rather you did just tell me... At least Joe brought it back - I didn't even know what it was! ;)

Just don't tell Helen how much it costs. Or Naomi for that matter. Joe nearly dropped it today when he suggested he thought I was doing my whole project with the cash from the sale of my Tubby, including buying the SC VX in the first place :o :ninja: :angry2:

Few pics It will fit a standered car but you would have to fit a coupe rear or a raised rear boot .

How do you plan to test how effective it is?

How much does it stick out the engine bay? Would a muncher raised boot (like Kieran's) do the job or would it need the hinged area to be adapted?

I would need to get hold of a muncher raised boot to see if it would work I think it would :-).

wouldn't bother with that, increase in CC temp is minimal so just plumb in series.

Open to suggestions I was going to Y Split it from the existing cc system .

I personally would not do that. Flowing fluids and gasses, like most things in nature, tend to want to take the path of least resistance, so unless both directions have equal resistance then the one with the higher resistance will likely be starved of flow. That is, unless the pump is pushing around so much flow that even the 'low resistance' path is still a significant enough restriction (resulting in a pressure rise) that the other path gets a good flow.

Coolers in series is guaranteed to get full flow through both of them. Some (K-thermocouple) temperature probes in the CC circuit path at various locations and in the air path at some spots should give a nice data gathering option on how much heat transfer is happening and where.

Bye, Arno.

Not even certain that the Harrop will fit with the raised boot lid... any idea who got the boot lid molds of ebay a few weeks ago? wonder if they could help here.

got to be a better way to package the boost charge to part of the engine bay with more space to work with. So the actual SC manifold adaptor would just a Z chamber to split the SC flow and the return. Probably with pipework on the gearbox side, or a coupe roof intercooler.
