Not even certain that the Harrop will fit with the raised boot lid... any idea who got the boot lid molds of ebay a few weeks ago? wonder if they could help here.

It was me, and no it won't help. The angle of the supercharger means than you need to cut away at the box section where the hinges are, and potentially redesign the hinge. I can look into making new moulds if the cooling plate works, however until then it's a bit premature.

When are the dyno runs happening to test the efficiency mate?

Damnit, I knew I was forgetting something... I at least need to pop over soon, take stock (see what bits have gone walkies!) and formulate a plan I guess. Already struggling to find enough free weekends though... Look fwd to seeing results on yours mate.

Lee, have you had to space your alternator out to compensate for this mod? Or is it just a case of finding a bigger belt to fit the pulley?

Big limitation with Lee's implementation is you can't fit it under a normal boot lid.

Secondly, and this is the most critical, for most people the LSJ manifold is fit for purpose. Power is typically conrod constrained rather than inlet manifold limited.

Easiest implementation is a log style manifold with a separate air to water exchanger like this:

It's relatively easy to impliment as it can technically be done with off the shelf parts (Pro-alloy turbo charge cooler and dbilas inlet manifold), however there's been minimal interest due to my first point.

:yeahthat:... is not so easy... But you can modify the SC manifold with an extra in/outlet and go external chargecooler. Tried several times in the US and results unsure or it made less power than a stock manifold...

You've got to drop the stock manifold. It's too restrictive, but then you're stuck with a question of how to mount the supercharger.

As I see it, there are two options:

1. Stick with the standard setup, live with a limited power output or high inlet temps

2. Complete redesign - Rotrex supercharger, log manifold and charge cooler.

Anything between the two is significantly compromised.

Makes perfect sense. Would be ideal if some one produced a basic rotrex kit with an air to air cooler that could later be upgraded to a chargecooler setup.

Mark V or Peter may have drawings for the rotrex mount they have? It is not a cheap option though.

The bracket is shown here:

Looks pretty custom.

Last time i asked Peter if he would share the bracket drawings he did not mind, but that was asked years ago.
