10k?! So only 2.5k more than john turbos car which is a cat c, with replacement engine?

I would think the sale price would be around the £10k mark, but to replace it 'like for like' would be around £18k

It's yellow so straight away you can drop £3k from the value

HTH thumbsup

see £10k was spot on

to be truthful I was quoting an average condition stage 2 sc value and not your exact car  :)

Does the insurance company pay out the agreed value if you should be in the unfortunate position of having to claim? Might be worth asking the question before you take too long working out the value. Norwich Union didn't on a motorcycle policy where I had to list every single modification & cost to a Ducati 916 I use to ride. They just gave me a lump sum on top of what they told me that the standard value of the bike was. That lump sum was barely half of what I could have sold the parts for second hand, no where near being in a position to build another bike.

about £11.5k to buy, but would be nearer £20k if you were to build from a standard sub 20k mileage car.

6months ago mine soldfor £12250 so yours now would fetch £12500-13500 imho. To start again you would need £15000-17000.

The agreed evaluation is what they pay out. Cost me an extra few quid to do it with my NA with Classic Lines oh and also salvage rights

2001 NA 65k miles £ 8000 fixed for two years, had to list things done and show photographs.

Sorry, that was a typo error. I meant stage 4 turbo 'eater'! It's called an NA. ;)
