That is one brutal looking mess. Just been staring at the pic slack jawed for several minutes. Sooo happy you walked away from it, it does seem to defy logic how that is possible. Go give the NA a hug :-)

Been away for a few days and just seen this. Holy cow! Ghand, so glad you are ok and just love your great smiling perspective, amazing.

Wouldn't be surprised if that car is repaired and will live on. Looks like the crash box did exactly what it should have and protected the chassis. New clam, windscreen surround and crashbox and we'll have another car to warn people about. :P

I said it before... I expect that to magically reappear without any cat status via that honest and truthful lotus repair company.

Maybe not as the recovery guy told me it had gone over one of the Armco posts which had ripped full length under the car,

Bloody hell... you really are one lucky bugger to have walked away from that accident. That was always the bit that scared be - the vunerability of the lower tub - as it wouldn't take much for the footwell and legs to be ripped at from underneath.

I had my suspicions about you Gordon...

But what exactly did you do/not do that made them punish you by cutting your horns off just before Halloween ?

Steady on there, you might be doing the right thing but isn't there a campaign to stop members commenting on for sale threads, even if you would be doing the right thing:-S

True, but they won't advertise on here anyway. Have you ever read the Imran VXR thread? Really highlights why some people feel so passionately about for sale threads

It was but its great now healed loads and the other side is clear now, went yellow all over the top part of my face for a day or so then fine, amazing how fast the body heals. Stitches out tomorrow they got postponed , then it's just a little scar to add to all the others .

I actually feel the pictures look pessimistic, I don't see anything that could lead to chassis damage (even if the crash box is very heavily damaged which could be touchy)
