Ha ha the cops said the same, I was expecting to be sore today but seem fine at the moment, I do have a nice cut head.To get out of that virtually unscathed is somewhat of a miracle, in fact I still can't work it out. It's truly terrifying how these cars can bite back for no apparent reason. The only thing I think is that one wheel gripped and the other didn't. Glad you're ok mate.

If a newbie had come on the forum and smashed his car up a few weeks later everyone would of jumped on him with abuse and comments of should of got driver training etc. Got to love .org double standards.

just seen the pic- shocking is the word. So glad you are still here (drinking scotch) etc to tell the tale. Just goes to show that the tub did its job. Not sure about the airbag though.

I don't agree about the double standards. Ghand has been driving a vx for years and one of the best drivers I know. So why would we waste our breath on advising him to get driver training? Do you honestly think driver training could have avoided this?
It is not exactly the same as a newbie situation.
All we should focus on is that one of our own has thankfully walked away from a terrible crash and leave other debatess to one side.

i wrote mine off on a straight dual carrageway just after going stg4,so your not on your own!
very sobering pictures you have posted,i think your a lucky, lucky bloke.Thank god.
i simply lost the rear end after dropping it a cog and went into the barrier at high speed, these things need respect and can be a big handful if damp
think twice before posting too many details on here as the insurance peeps are very sneaky!
really glad you are ok,must have had your lucky cufflinks on eh?
