Hi all,

As I got quite some pms regarding my exhaust system, here the *official* sales thread for it.

First off the price! It was not cheap, and I won´t sell it cheap.

All in all I have spent more than 3000€ for the entire system.

It is nearly new (just 5 months of use tis year, approx 4000 km)

My price for giving it away is 2420 € incl. shipment

But before you judge whether it is a lot or if it is worth the money, please read about the details.

I think this exhaust is definitely one of a kind!

I only used the absolutely finest components.

The total weight excl. exhaust wrap is 13,4 kg!!!

I have also wrapped it in a special reusable! industrial heat shield wrap. Only the wrap costed ar 200€

1,2 mm wall thickness of the tubing (special order)

Ultralight 100 cpsi HJS cat with 130mm cat section

It was the best and fanciest upgrade I ever made :D as when the active flap is closed, it is sporty, nice also possible to travel long distances w/o headaches.

When the flap is opened well... the sound is amazing. One speedster colleague over here has named it as ".. like a Eurofighter would pass you"

Also the catalytic converter glows highly orange in the night what can be seen from the rear :D

Just like a WRC

I am selling it, because after my differential broke down, i decided to take my speedster project to something really insane and brutal. So I am currently setting up a long term (2-3 years) project including some engine swapping etc.....

So as much as I love this exhaust, I will not be able to use it on my car after the new project will be done.

NOTE curretnly the tailpipe is 100 mm! so it would need a widening of the clam opening. this can be done w/o a paint job though.

However, of course it is possible to add a reduction pipe to reduce the diameter after the cat.

any good welder would make that for peanuts...

The only thing what is missing to make it absolutely  perfect would be some ceramic coating, which I would have planned for this winter.

But as I will not use it anymore, that´s a point to be done by the next owner :)

I am working as development and race engineer in rally racing incl. WRC.

The exhaust is my design, and handcrafted by a professional exhaust producing company here in europe.

the welding is absolutely perfect.

If interested or any more questions, just PM ;)

Have you got any video's of it in action to get an idea what it sounds like?

No..... :(

Didn´t plan to sell it, and thought I will have enough time to make some vids etc. but then the diff broke.......

However, I have a bad quality vid of the same setup, w/o flap and only 2,5".

Will load it up later on.

However, the 3" and especially very "flowy" 100 CPSI PE cat are spounding massively better/louder when the flap is open. :saw:

some images of the Cat glowing.

NOTE: this was with the small cat and small pipong of the trial system.

Now the diameter is nearly twice the size! so looks lethal :D

Vacuum correct. I have a small toggle switch on the centre console cover which opens/closes a solenoid valve and switches the vaccum feed => opens and closes flap on desire :)

You´d catch yourself playing around with it all the time, and seeing the people wondering "where did that massively loud sound come from just a second ago??" :D (well at least I did :D)

I summarize the main points up again.

- absolutely lowest backpressure imaginable for a LET/LEH setup when flap open, NO bends, full 3" setup, cat at the very end, and even bigger diameter after Cat outlet!

- in fact it is 2 exhaust systems in 1 (sporty but not too loud when closed, optimised performance and incredible sound experience when open)

- still lighter than most exhausts which have only one of the above characteristics!

- real eyecactcher with the glowing catalyser :D

all in all... yes I could not think of a better system for a VXT. that´s why I´ve done it this way.

And I will do it again similar to this for my new layout in the future.

Oh and did I mention that there does only exist this unique piece :D
