For a Z22SE...Anybody know a place other than VX? Does the replacement have a new tensioner arrangement?

I got an FAI one from Euro Car Parts for around £90. It had everything, chain, sprockets, guide, tensioner, tensioner plunger, gaskets , top plate, bolts etc.

Get OEM is the advice I heard. The tensioner came separate to the chain when I ordered one.

 

Once you have a price (Ebay have them) try (ring them) Autovaux and see if they'll match the price.

 

OEM is the watchword.

ZZP sell a kit for both chains with GM genuine parts (i think the sprockets are missing)

This... I got a new oil pump gasket as well, only a few bucks and worth replacing for new whilst youre in there. I was told to not bother faffing around with changing the balancer sprokets as they have feck all load on them so dont wear at all really, and certainly not enough to dick about getting them off and on again.
