The following LoT day had none of these issues. Well, maybe one when I overtook an overtaker on the short squirt out of Graham Hill onto Cooper.

Track days are not about manning up and growing a pair, they are about safe and considerate driving. I think a few (me included) could do with remembering that.

:D Dude It's a 500/500lb/ft track purpose built scoob ... fast forward lol....  that's why i mentioned this as i genuinely don't remember anyone overtaking me or Pete in this car ... I was running 400/380 bug and that's why it's such a huge difference in speed... the suspension , brakes and other stuff is adequate to the power too .... Let's just stay humble instead , we didn't ran and shout we had the day and were overtaking everyone like some on here , instead just had a good laugh . You have brilliant cars which shine on the bends due to their weight , but other cars have their advantages too so please dont write them off... I love all cars , love track work and my choice of weapon is just my personal preference.. It's such a shame really that everyone gets dropped to the same chav boat being a subaru owner when in the reality is not ,  in any way i'm done here. Happy new year and i hope i'll see you sometime on track soon....

BTW i'm booked for Snetterton in Feb 28 , if any of you going to be there i'd love a passenger lap in one , i love these little cars.

I wasnt saying that you did fast forward it just that it looked mentally quick! That vx i was in has 145bhp and about 10lb/ft its supprising what it can keep up with though. But not your Scooby by any stretch.

Mr M - thanks for posting the videos - that scooby does seem to launch down the straights.

What car is it in the last vid?

Second vid is the green mini that was causing problems. I have two observations from the second video:

1- It's clear he was ignoring blue flags (see 6:50 and 7:12). Looked like some of the others were for him too but it's difficult to tell with the amount of traffic. A rear facing cam would be good to see.

2 - He's not that quick despite claims of 'only the race vx being able to give him a run for his money'. Looks like a clear lap at 6:33 - 7:31 (from end of cooper straight to end cooper straight) making it a 58 second lap. My stage FA 145bhp NA road car was running around in the 57s....

As he catches me you can see my car squirming for grip as I go through the corner. It has nitrons on it but I have no idea who set the car up, if at all. Also never checked to see what settings they are on. Along with my triple 8s having less than 1mm left on them. I think with the new tyres ive got and it setting up properly will knock 3-4 seconds off my lap.

From the photos and videos it looks massively busy, seems this is the root cause between the talk of bad driving standards (except the MX5).  People getting frustrated with so much traffic, think most of us could get pulled into something for a lap then calm down..

So its down to the TDO imho here..

It's all doen how you take it Whipping boy ... As much as it's a track day there's always a bit of competition involved....every single track day i attended wasn't perfect , you get knobs and polite ones , just try not to take all that negative instead enjoying the positive... now if that stuff makes you really stressed , track days are not for you...

Your car was set up by Phenex motorsport, so id of thought it was more than ready for track use? lets put the squirming down to the drivers entry and exit speeds. ; )

I've never had a Subaru catch me on track. :) Can't say any of those videos have changed my perception of the marque.

The December Brands is always busy and does attract some idiots as was seen on the sighting laps. Always makes me laugh when I see a 'rally car' on track . :)

Keep on laughing then , it makes makes you live longer they say ;)
