I wanna go against that Scooby of yours.

:D I'm going to take it on my chin ....... I really hope it was a sarcastic comment of yours...
Given cliffie probably has a better power to weight ratio and has won his class in time attack more than once I'd say he has a good chance...

Well that's what i meant by looking at his avatar and seeing the car in flesh that day too If that was the one? . It's a totaly different level and shouldn't be compared or me challanged anyway , lol....My car is in full trim , 5 seats with subtle mods to cope with ocasional track work ... We can share our opinions or full fill our egos on here but i will let you enjoy doing it alone... As i'm here not for that reason , willy waving i meant ;) , as the chap in the previous with post nr 1 about subaru mark and rally cars on the track :) he never been overtaken by  ... so much hate .... grow up....

Nope, not taking the pee or Willy waving. I really enjoy a good scrap on track days and looking at the vid you posted and reading how there was only one VX220 came near you; I reckon we could have a good old scrap.

If anyone finds any more videos , post em up.

I think the mini video covers most of what has been said.

For me it was a frustrating day , never got a single clear lap in, so never had any kind of rhythm.

Having a slower car would have been an advantage as you would tend to stay in your own window of track space and enjoyed the day a lot more.

Free Donuts and a Busy track is not worth a cheaper day imho. As for your calculations Dave, £25 for photos etc, great that they're free but if the track is too busy to get a clear run then photos just serve to remind you of a bad day.

This was the only other video I have of the day. Doesn't have any vx's so hadn't added to thread before. It was the clearest laps I got on the day. I'm sure I could get into low 56s with more confidence through paddock (using up the track on exit) and braking later into druids instead of changing down and then braking.

Oi!!  :poke: I'll have you know that watch is quite a normal size.

I just have pathetic skinny arms which makes the watch look fcuking massive...

How did you get that timer on to your video

In a way that I wouldn't recommend unless you really want a timer on your video.

I created text on the video with a 1 second duration and then copied and pasted the text over and again with them running sequentially. Once you have 60 seconds in a project you can copy and paste the whole block to other points in the video or across other projects BUT the software I used can be quite glitchy with it (Windows live movie maker). I also have Adobe Premiere Elements which I think would be much better for this kind of thing but I have no idea how to use it... suggestions welcome.

Also, there's some more videos from Mr M on his youtube channel here:-
