There was a dark green mini with scalextric sticker in the rear window who was driving as if in a full blown race effectively pushing people out of the way everywhere with no track day etiquette at all, but when I tried to pass him he would block again and again, as if in a race and he did this lap after lap. Only good thing was that I'd been a bit relaxed all morning and he fired me up and got me driving with more agression and focus.
He was basically a danger to a lot of people and was complained about to the organisers.

Was anything done though?

I didn't have any problems with the Mini's, at least when I am across them they were no worse than the other bmw's with the key difference that they didn't have the same horsepower on the straights to block me from passing. Was anything done though?

There are some nice pics in there. I saw the same mini later and he wasnt driving any better but pretty sure they were going to have chat as he did the pushing out of the way thing with my daughter in her car. I was behind him 'still' at the time so that was even more annoying. My daughter had the chief instructor on board so he witnessed what a div this guy was as well.
Overall the day was good it was just a wide array of skill levels and there were a few accidents. If it hadnt dried out though I think by lunch it would probably have to have been stopped as it would have been continual carnage going by how many didnt seem to be able to deal with the concept of cold, damp = lack of grip.

Nobody was blocking you. The only VX220 that gave the green mini an actual run for its money was the full race specced one...who has posted on piston heads saying he had no issues just fun. I know which blue car you were in and you didn't like the fact the mini was quicker. There was a red VX220 and a White one driving absolutely fine, you were too busy gesturing at me as I went past. We have cameras front and back in the Minis, and I will happily post the videos so everyone can see you weren't being blocked..you were over taken and then couldn't keep up...simples. In future, instead of being a keyboard warrior, grow some, and come and speak to me if you have an issue at future track days. Don't like to post like this, we all like our driving...Thanks. I didnt say I had no issues just fun. I said I had a small issue with the blue M3 and thought the driving standards were below average. Also on that Pistonheads thread the Mini/s do get a slating from a couple of people. Not saying one was you because I dont know, just pointing it out.Nobody was blocking you.
