Will there be any issues running 215 front 235 rear?? More chance of oversteer or fine??

Can't see a prob with it apart from the ABS. Although I would only do it if 205/45 or 245/40 are not available in the tyres you want.

245 are but not sure if they'll rub on rear with lowered suspension.

I faced all these question 3.5 years ago and decided to just go with the 245/215 combo and deal with it as so many people in Europe were already running them. I took the view they would work but if I was not 100% happy my next set would be the 235/205 combo.

So 215 and 245 are fine Crabash? Do you know what your ride height is at the rear?

There are no abs problems with 195/45/17 + 225/45/17 and the diameter differences are much bigger... (only are problems if you mix semislick rears with no-semi fronts) My choice for Ats Dtc rims is 205/40/17 + 235/40/17. (fronts are not legal, I know)

I was not very aggressive with ride height, was 130.

xco that is not true some people have experienced problems when moving to a smaller front tyre and keeping the same size rear. ABS works by measuring the diff in speed between wheels, vx220 being 2 channel that means front and rear.

Not all VX's are the same some get way with it and some don't, I have never had a problem but I don't say no one else has.

I have not had any problem with that sizes combination. With the oem front it worked worse...

Exactly, some people get "ice mode" on standard tyres, for some the change in ratio when going for a smaller front tyre tips the car over the edge and introduces ice mode, some never experience it at all.

I get ice mode using proper sized 888's and 4 channel abs so it cant get any worse for me.

Looking like I'll be trying 215 40 17 and 235 40 17 Federals as my car runs low compard with most for some reason.

Be interested to know how you all get on once tyres are fitted. Mine won't go on until March time so be great to keep the thread going with some feedback.
