Heres sthe wheels on the car. At first thought it looked a bit chavved, then after a while, I still think it looks a bit chavved up, but I have a slightly chavvy streak anyway so now like them. They rub when turning on the front running 205 AD08R's so will need to sort that, but liking them. Martin s http://s568.photobuc...792409460787843

Jesus had to look twice Martin car looks very very nice ;-)

Don't tell Techie, but can you remind me what tyre set up you went for?

Very nice Martin. Damn you I know I'll be reaching for the chequebook when I see it in the flesh now!!

Had chance to track it yet ? Interesting to see what a difference having the wider tyres will make versus the usual td 16/17 setup.

Hark the diffuser is the ChrisUk/Jimsan. Which I am after aswell, you still had no luck ?

Nice Martin.

I'm using same tyres and don't have front rubbing on full lock - wondered if you're running a bit lower ride height to me? I was at 120mm front on the TD's which I haven't altered yet.

My car runs lower than most for some reason, hence the rubbing. I plan to use my td's on track with 888's and use these on the road and wet days. They tramline a bit more but other than that all is good. In the end went for the Yokohama AD08R's in 205 front (measure at 215 wide) and 235 rear sizing. the wheels were light enough but I reckon the AD08R's weigh more than 888's. Just noticed, the new Porsche 911 Targe runs on the same wheels. Seems they are chavvy after all. Martin s

How are you finding the AD08R's this time of year? I'm impressed with mine, for road use they feel pretty good to me.

Oh and it's the black that makes them chavy :P

Recieved the RSR 235/40/17's today. Produced in 0214 so thats as fresh as a cold shower in the morning.

Took a picture to show the tirewidth and general RS-R info:

Left is the 235/40/17 RSR vs. 245/40/17 Michelin PilotSport 3

So thats more like a +245/40/17 tire.

Going to go out and fit the rears and the new diffuser now. Are people running these at 22 fr 24 rear pressures for anything higher?? Used to run my TDs at that or just above.
