Evening fellow VX'ers

 

I've managed to get my hands on a Aluminium gear surround, i've just dropped this off at a local engineers to see about replicating this and the cost. Would anyone be interested? could we start a org list (pending acceptable price). Looking to produce a first lot of 10.

believe so, it will be am OE copy, probably finished to a higher quality

i've no idea on the costings yet.

 

I've worked ou the cost for the rawl nuts and bolts will be about £2-2.50. Will keep everyone posted

Bloody good price if they do end up around a tenner!! I've got a oe one so won't be needing one but predict big numbers being in on this at £10!!

once i hear i will report back. the good news is that once the drawing is done production will be super easy and can be run off in small batches for ever. Can also get them anodised in black should anyone wish.
