And going from 5th to 3rd without matching the revs (not that I could hear) might not have helped.

Similar happened to me going from 4th to 3rd with aggressive breaking, I caught it but really going to focus on learning heel toe to keep the car in balance and prevent it happening again. I think a few people would benefit from learning how to drive a low powered car properly before adding more and more power. Power will never make you a better driver, only worse as you depend on it to get you round the track quickly rather than smooth, joined up corners carrying maximum speed through with a balanced car.

Completely agree however George is a quality driver.

I find the Vx very hard to heal and toe in and have decided not to bother. I do days to enjoy my self and I had a lot of fun driving my own car. Maybe it was down to the sc not being as drive able as my turbo??? :P

You do have to use the revs a lot in my car and maybe in others But I must agree with george the brakes were not right I spent the first few sessions messing with things to solve it, and possibly I ended driving around the issue a little.. But also in the vid when I'm driving the car the light end does go very light but this could be down to the way the car is set up ie soft There is a lot more rake in my car than George's and coupled up with the soft front end due to some adjustments made in the morning it compounded the problem.

I have the wider tat pedals which makes things easier. Maybe worth a look?

Acidpopstar is also a very good driver but I recon proper H & T would net him 2 seconds around Croft and I'm sure most drivers would be quicker with that skill under their belt.

George has the larger pedal and it's brilliant

Before going to Croft I though I would be sitting here just now ordering a Supercharger kit!

Now I am not so sure as the VX is really about carrying the speed through the corners.

Must of been, erm interesting in the morning with the damp conditions for those that don't heel and toe. Should come up to Knockhill, you will soon learn to as its always wet lol

A few things to work on! It's great you've got the engine sorted, now for the rest of it!

I have the tat accelerator pedal but I find it really hard not helped by the fact my accelerator pedal is stiffer than a oem pedal. I can do it in my main car fine. I've knocked it on the head now and if I ever did go racing I would try some proper instruction. End of the day I'm not looking for lap times and get very bored on laps without a quick bit of traffic. I would be very surprised if acidpopstars corner speed is as quick as mine so I don't agree about the power thing. Anybody that was at croft would know that going round quickly was right down my priority list as I spent most of the day having fun dicking about going sideways.

Meant to say I am running DS2500 pads with RBF600 fluid and found the brakes excellent all day.

The higher approach speeds have not helped, But overall I enjoyed spanking the car around croft And despite my problem I was still aggressive as I dared on the brakes, at times things were to aggressive but it's the only way I could get the brakes to work at all

Got to ask, but how did you come to that conclusion?

Don't look at the video I posted that was george having a go of my car, not using aggressively but did highlight problems with my car
