Any noise issues? Though I guess Mike is the best person to say how close things were to their limits.

No noise issues AFAIK. George does a very dainty pirouette.

Well, as a newbie to sticky (er) tyres, and (slightly) firmer suspension, I am happy with the investment. Only issue I had was boiling brake fluid on a couple of afternoon sessions. Crabash mentioned I possibly was breaking too late and hard which in think is true. But after being in Chills car with the hugely increased approach speeds to corners and seeing how his put the anchors on I think I need to change brake fluid. 140bhp shouldn't be causing that many issues. In terms of what you're getting at - EML light has been on since you left me couple of weeks ago. Was on all day then got back to drop Rich's S1 off, turned engine off, fired it up a few minutes later and EML now gone. Fecking odd beasts these cars...

Maybe you misunderstood there Neil mate, what I meant was you were possibly leaving the braking a touch late and compromising your corner entry, slow it down a touch and work on the lines and it will feel slower but actually be faster. Did not mean don't brake as hard, or that it would have anything to do with your brake issues.

There is a issue with my brakes since putting new engine in possibly still some air in the system , I will have to get the ABS connected and get it activating and give it a good bleed again, Looking back the brakes are deffo different and when george pointed out " your car is lethal " from before a issue I think I was driving round the problem but I couldn't get brakes working well first thing but pressures were a little high and shock were stiffer than normal, I will get it right soon, first time at croft , it is a daunting circuit at first when you get used to the high speed nature it good

Get some dot 5 fluid in there. I was driving the wheels off the Elise all day and no fade at all.

Great fun as ever catching up with you guys on track again, and Croft is a brilliantly testing track.     I say catching up... only just, everyone's getting quicker every year

Except the Lotus factory cars which were good to see, but a little pedestrian even with fancy traction control and instructors in them...   eh George? :ninja:

Car was Epic, had some great fun lapping with some of you today. Looking forward to the next.   Will try and get some vid up latter.   Mike (blue VX)

Always knew my car had potential to be quick :P Shame it took a change of owner and the restoration of the knob number plate to make it happen :(

Nice one , I hope it stays off for good. It must like the track and just gets a little grumpy when you drive it on the road.

Cracking day guys, loved every minute of it! Great meeting you all and having a good natter about all things VX! Special thanks to Mike for keeping us right on our first track day, Chill for the first PAX rides - I had no idea what these cars were capable of until that moment, and finally Crabash for pointing out how ropey we both looked after our first PAX rides! ;) The newly anointed 'Wife Rabbit' seemed to fare a little better than me I must admit, but I held out for the second go :D
