Think this is apt for an r8


What's the blandest sort of quick if you squint, car you have?

 

I like the chassis, engine and gear box. I would redesign the clam.

what do you think new exige v6 or second hand R8? which would hold their resale value best not to mention hassle with running along with cost.

Yep. The Audi V10 (take one from a S8) is only ~550mm in length, meaning with a small chassis extension, and the right Audi gearbox, it will fit longditudinally.. You'll prob have to remove the FSI direct injection and move to port injection, plus a few head mods, but still ~500 hp / 400lb/ft would be on the cards. The engine weighs ~220kg complete, so prob 200kg ish once you ditched unessessary stuff.. Serious question?

thumbsup Maybe someday I'll get a third VX and convert it to a v10, after I've put a Ducati engine in the second VX. The first VX stays as near standard as possible (iTB tune).

Well, a mate messaged me last week to ask if I could reccomend a noble as he had £50k to spend. Hes messaged me today saying hes ordered an R8. I'll see what its like!
