I spent hours on GT5 and loved it, GT6 is better, lost that floaty-ness GT5 had.

Still far too easy to win races though, and you can cheat so easily buy cutting corners and taking the grass, I avoid as much as i can but when i do take the p*ss a little it'd be nice if you got penalised or lost grip when going onto the grass.

Quite a way into the game without having to buy or upgrade a car either!

Usually on the harder races you get a time penalty for taking to the grass. Know what you mean about the floatyness too, I even lost the back of my VX under braking at one corner, pretty realistic. Its lots of little points like that. Bodyroll is much more apparent too and when you give it left and right when sitting on the line, the car rolls a little bit too. With the car sideways it feels a lot more organic too, hard to explain why, it just all feels a lot more realistic thumbsup

I was chatting with a mate at work who started playing this at pretty much the same time as I did and it turns out that I'm not being awarded some of the cars that you get for completing licences and stuff. So far the cars I haven't been awarded are the Alfa Mito, the Honda S2000 and the Light Car Company Rocket. Slightly miffed about this, anyone heard of anyone else with this issue or have any idea what on Earth is going on ?

I think I need to try and get into GT5 with a wheel setup as I just could not get on with it on the controller.

Last time went to buy something , I was hoping there would a setup that worked on xbox360 and ps3

GT6 is great on the controller, hard to describe why exactly, it just is  IMO, Not including VAT, subject to T+Cs, TBH, LOL etc... I want to say it feels quite organic, but it's a computer game :9mm:

Yep.

For example, I've got the KTM X-Bow, which you get for getting all golds in the A-Class licence, but I didn't get awarded the S2000 which you get for just completing the A-Class licence.

Very weird, and a bit annoying.

And now it hasn't awarded me the Plymouth XNR Ghia Roadster '60 for getting all golds in the second batch of Goodwood events.

No, but I'll be doing that shortly to see if there's any patches I need to download.

Downloaded all the patches, that made no difference. Decided that although it hadn't really affected me as yet I'd be mighty pissed off if I missed out on any cars when I'd progressed much further through the game so decided to delete my data and try again.

And this time it appears to have worked, I received the Mito this time for completing the A-Class licence.

Shouldn't take me too long to catch up to where I was.

Played this last night with the G25 setup... Really good fun.

MUCH Better than Forza4

I thought it had more a PC feel to it

ive had a couple hours on it now.. you can feel weight transfers which is nice and you have to be smooth which is another nice thing.. but the wheel feedback holy hell.. damped to high heaven to give this appearance of a heavy car when in reality it just slows down the inputs to what you do on screen.. move your wheel irl then watch it follow in the game.
