Loving the seasonal events. With the 200% login bonus I've earned sh*t loads of cash, won just over £2m from getting gold on that Hudson challenge, I now have something like £8.7m in the bank.

I have gone back to GTAV for a while. Haven't tried any of the online stuff yet, but have a cool 2.6M in the bank just from going through the motions and not buying or tuning unnecessarily :)

I've done the exact opposite and spent a shed load modifying cars including my VX na which now has 350bhp!

My strategy was to get as far as I could with minimal tuning and without buying any cars, just using the ones you win.

Then I had a look at the seasonal events, entered one, got a gold beating time, and was awarded with over a million in cash. So I then did all the seasonal events I could and now I have something like £9.2m in the bank, plus a couple of cars that you win from doing some of them.

Now, because I've got sh*t loads of cash I'm being a bit more relaxed about buying cars and just getting what I want and having fun, knowing that if I get stuck I'll have enough cash to throw at the problem.

Haven't actually bought a VX, which is an oversight that I shall be putting right the next time I log in.

Tbf I have ruined the VX with too much power - it's like trying to control a marble! Fun though. Gonna try some of those events and get my cash back up.

In 5 I ruined mine too until I changed the suspension geometry and add a rear wing - then it became very drivable again

Can you remember your settings? I've got fully adjustable race suspension and LSD and a wing and have messed around with loads of settings. It's made it better but still masses of lift off overseer and instability under braking.

just soften the rear end up loads and add loads of negative camber.

PSN: siztenboots This guy (http://www.kudosprim....php?start=1200) has the complete list of cars in GT6, and importantly their performance points , NA 403pp, Turbo 423pp

Ok, done 4 lots of Goodwood Hill climb invites but no big payouts. How do get invited to the big pay days? I have never registered online so that may have something to do with it...

That's your problem right there.

If you 'log in' to the playstation network for 5 days in a row you get a 200% win bonus, which basically means that if we both complete the same race I'll be winning double the cash you will.

The big pay outs though are under the 'seasonal events' section. The Andretti Hudson challenge will pay out just over £1m if you win gold in that. Factor in the 200% bonus if you've logged in for 5 days in a row and, like I did, you'll walk away with just over 2 million for getting gold, oh, and you win the car in that event too.

I've not touched it for over a week but a mate at work told me there had been an update and some new cars added so I went and had a look.

I keep looking fanatec wheels on ebay , hoping that a decent bit of kit will mean I will play more racing sims, but I hardly have time to do CoD, BF4 or GTAV
