Where's wednesday's race and what cars?

If memory serves its at nurburgring gp in the z4 and elise sc but if you get under a certain time in the elise your asked to drive the slower z4 just to keep racing close. My pb in the z4 is 2'25 but not yet tried the elise.

just created my steam account , TeamVXRacing , so will get this purchased and downloaded tonight hopefully. still not got any pedals setup , so I normally have to use the gear shift paddle as throttle/brake on or off.

you can use controllers for AC but really you want a wheel i would also download and install teamspeak so you can chat to us. sky2004 is my steam account name so add me.

have a fanatec forza wheel , not sorted out headset , but have a turtle beach x12 setup for the xbox that would probably work on PC as well.

on the main menu , only the special events and main menu are enabled , can't see a way to add extra tracks?

you have to add the tracks into the root directory. then they will show up in the menu. you really need to set this up correctly otherwise it wont be as good as it should be, i can help you tomorrow if you get a mic sorted out. i cant find that name on steam either.

Its as simple as draging a file into another window. Download the file, open it, drag the folder that says the track name into steamcommonassettocorsacontenttracks

okay , can't play using just the fanatec wheel , even though the pedals were options. Plus my Gforce 9800 GT won't do DX10.1 I think I will either get a wired xbox controller, while I wait for some fanatec v1 pedals to come up on ebay

had to muck about updating the firmware on the wheel to latest, and then win7 drivers. Never got a manual and by luck worked out how to get wheel into usb mode with the back button. Steering axis was recognised in AC controls customisation , but it insists on having axis control of throttle and brake, not just a button.

just go buy a G27 wheel for £200 and have done with it... then go buy a propper DX11 card and stop pissing about lol!

just dug out a quadro k600 , tiny little thing compared to the monster silent cell gt9800 is the g27 a toy ? apologies to anyone that uses one.
