if i squint and pretend im in the seat of a VX, the feeling of driving this Eleven is pretty much bang on how my car feels on track.. absolutly bang on.. im impressed.

Yeah the vids never do it justice. It's not the best looking that title prob falls to project cars, but then thas not a sim. However AC is still very good looking with everything turned on and not using the pc power to record a vid at the same time.

ive just done the 458 challenge where you have to get a certain time.. was reasonable but the next one is 2 seconds faster still

I even had a go at drifting it felt so spot on. You got your T500 yet?

Yea, got it on thursday night, its so much better than the g27, only thing im not sure on is the resistance when turning, its a bit strong even on lowest setting, its like driving a gokart all the time. 30mins driving on the t500 and you have to take a break, your fooked! I had a go at the drifting thing but was rubbish.. Got to level 7 and a max combo of 6, there is an achievement to get level 100 !

Maybe need to mess a bit more with settings, mine feels very much like a real car. But it has to power to snap you wrists lol.

i figured it out, it was the damper setting in the profile making it really weighty.. sorted now tho

Well finally got home to have a play around with AC, it just gets better and better. Most sims to me seem to get worse as I notice errors etc, but this just gets better as you just seem to notice yet another thing they have got spot on.

211 feels and sounds fantastic, loving the crashes and bangs as you hit bumps etc.

 

You using any mods yet Chris. There were a few kicking about for the tech demo.

Well ive racked in 55hours so far, i recon 20 hours purely on trying to beat 1'54.000 at Imola in the 458 which i did on thursday night with a 1'53.876.. I LOVE how you just have go to put the time into a car to be fast with it.. Instantly online you will be able to tell who has put the hours in and who hasnt.. Its just like learning a track and car combo in real life. My next challenge is the bmw m3 gt2 at imola, gotta beat 1'44.000 first then beat 1'43.000... This is going to be a challenge! Have you done the 458@imola challenge's yet?

No I was just having a bash with all the cars, messing around. Didn't have my pedals bolted down so heel and toe was very hard, plan to fix that tonight. Amazing how rusty I got in a few months since the tech demo.

I kept coming back to the 211, simply awesome to drive. Got a bit of getting used to it all again to do, brakes are a little light so need to change the settings there.

Anyway just got in from work so best get sorted and have a blast.
