Core-racing is an amatuer league organiser which i think chris/mark found which a couple of us have joined.

Currently we are doing a number of races in the Lotus GX with results and an overall standings table etc..

Here are the races

I can't commit to those times for a whole points championship , plus for me I'd get bored after about 15 mins. I'd sooner have a fun 2x20 than 1x40 format

The amount of laps can be hard going but once you get in the flow the time passes very quickly.

 

Plus, with 14-17 other people on track its great fun with some really fast paced overtaking / racing action. (plus the replays look great)

 

There is a good mix of driver skill levels I think Silverstone national was only 2 seconds from 1st to 14th on the starting grid.

 

The wednesday night SimRacing events are slightly less fast paced but are just as challenging

It's 2x approx 30 minute races so you should be ok - just try it and see.

its usually from 7:30pm until 10pm on sunday nights (can be earlier if you dont char after the race)
