Cars feel fine, real as can be with all the feedback of what the car is doing on screen via the wheel. If your passing mine anytime pop in to give my setup a trybut how do you get the cars to actually drive in a realistic manner. I don't think its a frame rate thing as , fps is fine on mine to me its the car dynamics or the user interface is putting in wrong settings

Looks very good.
I don't have a gaming PC - my son wanted one for xmas. Now, because I'm divorced he spends time between mine and his Mum's houses and I didn't want a gaming PC carted backwards and forwards so I have decided to buy a laptop that can play games to a perhaps half decent level.
I'm buying him a laptop with a i7 6700HQ processor and GeForce GTX 960M graphics. 8GB of 1600MHz ram.
So my question is how Assetto Corsa might play on this - plugged into a TV via HDMI and Logitech Driving Force wheel/pedals. Any opinions?
Also, can the pedals be swapped for something better?
Thoughts?

one thing i will say steve is that once you start playing you wont want to be letting him take his laptop home...
what i would do is speak to mark about that £200 PC and see what you can build to keep at your place for similar money.. there are some bargains online for ready built PC's, haggi got a top of the line one for peanuts., if its just for AC then there is no reason why it should cost you millions.
also, if you are buying a wheel, have a look at the G27 first as it comes with great pedals, not the plastic ones the DF Pro has and it also has a full 6 spd shifter., if you already have the DFP then just use that and see how it feels.
you will need steam installed on the PC, its basically a digital distributer for games which is 100% safe, it installs your games etc and they are all kept neatly in one place.. Install that, create a free account and then check out the store.. AC will probably be on offer this xmas for £15-20 so you can pic it up cheap.

just bought an xbox one , iirc fanatec wheels will work on the next gen , so when AC is launched for xb1 , that will be good

Yes that totally confused me yesterday.
