Sorted now ta, I hadn't plugged the speakers in and it won't load if your main sound driver is disabled (my mobo automatically disables the driver if there's nothing plugged in)

I sold my driving rig before this came out as it was taking up too much space. Really wish I hadn't now, given it a blast with an xbox controller but it's utter shite. 100% needs a wheel... Now do I go for a G27 again or is there something better for a similar price?

Well Multi-Player alpha is out.

 

Now its good, but it PITA to get racing, as it stands I will use iRacing for real player racing till a better way connecting to races is figured out.

Glad you could join for the brief session we did have lol. Im going to try create a server which rotates a set tracklist, what im planning is that you should get to race every 30 mins. 5 mins booking, 15mins qual and 3 lap race.. If i password the server it should stop the rifraf entering and give everyone a structured event, only issue is you cant change car lists so it would be a set car selection for each track. How was the lag? If any.

I can't remember what the lag was like but nothing stands out so must of been fine. Few jitters here and thier. With more cars on track you would be able to make a better assessment.

Omg... just finished racing online with Chris 's server.. 12 real people... I'm sweating like a pig now.. came 6th.. qualified 3rd...wicked battle from 9th to 6th after a spin. Give up with ya consoles ... get AC

I had an awesome race last night @ nurb Gp. GT3 cars, i was in the p4/5 and the 2 infront were in the z4.. For 6 laps it was flat out bumper to bumper.. I eventually passed when the lead z4 made a mistake.. (Going to upload the race tonight) It was Bloody excellent! Lol
