They are what they advertise on site Mine have been in uk for nearly a week and still not delivered ??
Whereas mine are still showing as in chicago. ZZP told me that they often take 2 weeks to show as being in the UK due to the USPS tracking system so I'm not unduly worried yet. Weird yours show as being in the uk though.

You guys ordered ZZP stage 2 cams and received ZZP stage 2 cams, so what's the fuzz about?
Confusion comes from comparing the ZZP spec sheet (@1mm lift) with the durations listed in the Comp Cam grind sheets (@0.050" lift).
As said here, the difference (or suitability for your particular engine/driving) between ZZP LSJ St2 or the Comp Blower cam set is a different discussion altogether (and a bit late after ordering all the cams... )

Yup ZZP say:
"-The Stage 2 cams are the next step, they will raise your powerband about 700-1000rpm, they will make peak power around 7500-7800rpm! They will require an ATI balancer to help reduce engine vibrations at the new high RPMs."
How high are people planning to rev their engines? I'm certainly expecting to stay below 8,000rpm.

I'm still more worried about the base circle diameter problem you mentioned elsewhere. Given the fact my cams have been sat in the garage in their boxes for the last 13 months.

That will be against the standard cams not the z22seYup ZZP say: "-The Stage 2 cams are the next step, they will raise your powerband about 700-1000rpm, they will make peak power around 7500-7800rpm! A few of us bought some comp cams a while ago and may suffer from a duff batch that were made. The duff batch have a larger diameter base circle so hold the valve open a touch all the time. This causes rubbish running. Base circle should be 30mm IIRC (see Joes adventure no 2 project thread)

Shouldn't affect you, as you've got (presumably) cams from the latest production run. Exmantaa was saying (in Joe's thread) that 12-18 months ago, CompCams manufactured a batch of incorrectly sized cams that prevented the valves fully closing.Errrr i may have missed that. whatnow?

So in otherwords these will be slightly better rather than massively better than the Z22se cams?

fcuk it, they're shiny and new, and cost a lot of money. Job's a good 'un!
