Individual parts

Rear wheel arches (pair) - £30
Headlights (pair) - £26
Side of clam (pair) - £25
front of clam  + fogs (pair) - £28
Bonet lip - £25
Wing mirrors plus arms (pair ) £15

Front kit - cost separately £149, Kit cost £115

Headlights (pair )
Side of clam (pair )
front of clam  + fogs ( pair )
Bonet lip

Wing mirrors plus arms (pair )

I'm confused.

The price of all the individual parts comes to £149

But the front kit, minus the rear wheel arches, doesn't cost £149 - should it say £119 so saving of £4 to buy the kit? And then order wheelarches seperately?

From my point of view I'm going to have different mirrors, so dont need them and I'm not sure about the bonnet lip.

Still interested in parts of the kit regardless though.

Your'e not confused, I'm just an idiot. It was late when I wrote it and I wasn't paying enough attention.

The front kit does in fact come to £119 and also the kit price was supposed to be £110, not £115

Sorry for the confusion

If there are parts you don't want then I'm happy to remove them and for anyone that wants to make their own kit comprising of which ever parts I will do my best to squash the cuts into the smallest space possible. The individual prices are just if someone wants each part seperately for some reason.

Hopefully if the weather allows it I will have all pics up tomorrow and ready to go :)

Good stuff, thanks for clearing that up mate. Makes more sense now...

Will likely be a while til I'm ready to jump on this, but will bear it in mind for when the time comes.

Still getting there, didn't get as much done at the weekend as I'd liked due to rain and the day it's somewhat nice out I'm stuck in an office.

Sorry for the delay everyone.

To make you laugh though, Had a quote from Llumar directly about a pre cut kit from them to gauge if making our own was worthwhile and if cost was going to be any less than kits already available. Seems my estimate came in way under the RRP elsewhere. Happy about that

"bonnet, bumper and sills for a VX220 2004 only. This would be £232 plus VAT. Not including postage."

It's now all fitted to my car, just every time i get home from work to take pics it's either dark or raining , hopefully should have some soon.

Maybe an hour to fit at the most. It's not a tough job with our boxy cars :)

Could you also make something to fit behind the front wheels (from where the black wheel arches end).

All finished ! These are now ready to go. I will create a new thread in the Group By section so that all relevant information is in the first post.

Pics and price list to go up in the new thread shortly, will also update with pics etc.

There will be roughly a 1 - 2 week turn around on the kits.

Afternoon,

They are actually ready. I just haven't found the time to upload any pics and start a new thread with everything in the first post.

Hi DumFunk,

No not too late, I'm just waiting for a MOD to get back to me with info on the best way to either edit this post or create a new one, I don't want to clog up the board with duplicate threads if I can help it.

the material is from llumar and is rated against UV for 5 years, as previously mentioned, since I'm buying the material and cutting myself, I'm not sure how it would be garunteed but atleast gives you confidence that the material will hold up if they are willing to offer that..

I also had a quote for a pre cut kit from Llumar directly, £290 + VAT. Bit daft when I had just bought the material from them, the mark up for the cut is rather high.
