Yep I'm up for a Courtenay trip as and when we're all ready. Can lend a hand on the build to if it helps even though I don't know my way around the lesser engine too well. Any tools and workspace I have can also be at your disposal if needed.

Hi,
One of my light lenses seems to have sagged abit. Do u think I will get away with heating it in the oven and straightening it ?

You might get away with heating up the whole lamp and resetting the lense. Spot fixing won't work

Given the amount of crap over the exposed adhesive I'd say split and reseal the lens

Split and reseal would be the safest

Thanks for your input guys, I thoughts I'd have a go at heating up and moving the lense and it has seemed to have worked. It's not perfectly sealed but since it's now just a track car and garaged the rest of the time it's not an issue.
When I removed the light, the fiberglass that the light bolts too was snapped in 2 places, which won't have helped, the light has probably been vibrating. So I've fiberglassed it back again along with a few other bits underneath. Fibreglassing is a horrible job, when access is restricted 😔

Thought it was the goo that could not keep up.
Will used doublesided tape again next time.

I used a hairdryer to soften the sealant on mine to remove the lens at it worked well. Lenses came away easier than I thought they would
