not sure what to suggest your ultimate pace should be, looking at Elise Trophy times, the best can do a late 2:12 with about the same power you have but less weight etc... (thinking 111R's here, and the fastest 111R is a guy that has years of experience).
I guess ultimately, I would be looking to get to half way between? so a ~2:15?

That time was done in trackday trophy where class b is the limit (175 per ton, we are 174bhp/ton), we ballast to 1012kg with 75kg, In Team Trophy we could be class A with around 187bhp/ton witha class limit of 200.. With no ballast I believe there's a 2.15 in the car.
TBH in Team Trophy we are quite aware we havent got a chance of a race win/class podium in A so we choose to be class B and take class podiums (as we did last season in class C). I am doing Silverstone GP on my own on 27th April and am considering taking the ballast out and running in class A just to see what the car will do. In Team Trophy at the weekend for the first couple of laps when I was bunched with class A cars nothing beat it in the corners, the straights however were a different matter.

Back On Track have had some awful news. Earl, who some of you may have seen or met when coming to BoT, who has done photography for our races has had a serious stroke and is not expected to make it through the night. He's a big, strong and lovely lad and if anyone has the strength to make it then he has. We're all desperate for you to turn it round mate.

Just caught up on this thread - sorry to see the sad news above... but great to see the pole position! Shame about the final result on the weekend but it's looking promising for some great results this year! I'll be following with great interest and try and get along to a race this year!

For comparison, in my NA I was running 2:23's fairly consistently with a passenger on board and roof off - I guess power to weight would be around 120bhp/tonne (1050kg, 125 wheel bhp?). I think Firthy on here was well into the 2:22's in his NA.
