they did not use that lift to remove wheels etc, I dont' know if they even used that lift, they might just placed it there.

erm, why is the spoiler, the diffuser and the fuel filler surround and rear arch guards still fitted?
I'd also remove the roll bar cover.

hehe I knew someone would comment on that, I got a very good price on the respray, as I want the car finished ASAP, I rather keep those thing still fitted rather than they remove them and don't fit them properly, should still be good!
but the front clam looked awesome according to them, could not see it though..

I'm thoroughly unconvinced. you could remove them youself in 15min.
especially the diffuser and the spoiler, which will be properly gauche otherwise.
Do it properly

wow, what a mistake-a to make-a.
Why go to all the trouble and expense of a respray and not do it properly, especially if you're changing the colour?
I'd have had both clams and doors off the car

the thing is I was not going to do a respray, after they fitted the diffuser I did decide to go for it, did not want to be a dick and tell them to remove it again, and as I said I did get a good price so can't complain really.
oh if something should go wrong I have warranty on the paint job anyway.

Paint isn't magic, it has a thickness and will link the spoiler and the clam. Given that the spoiler is a different material, different thinkness, different weight to the clam who knows what will happen, but i'd guess it will be a mess pretty quickly.

I agree the bits should have been removed for the best results, wouldn't have taken that long, but it's not the end of the world as it's the same colour respray. the only time you'll notice is if you remove the spoiler, arches etc.

yes of course, but like you said not a big deal, also it was resprayed couple of years ago and the colour was still in very good condition but did not want only front clam resprayed so went for whole car, also when would I really remove the spolier and arches? after all it's just a plastic car.
