not orange, everything else is fine.

The current favourite is a mixture of all three

A dark metallic purple would be my choice

Think there might be some opposition to that one

A dark metallic purple would be my choice

nope. not allowed.

Didn't take you long... :D

Was there any trouble fitting the brake lines?

Nope, apart from the fact they're a bit fiddly

not orange, everything else is fine.

Even the carbon? :o

Well no, not that either, but that doesn't count as everything else.

that goes in the bloody stupid catergory :D

Well I'm not painting over my Carbon mirrors...

And isn't there any carbon in the airbox - must be for that money! ;)

Hopefully VW paint is cheaper than McLaren paint!

I went for Arancio Argos (Aventador color). The color really comes alive in the sun! Very hard to get it on a good pic:

(don't mind the ride height as it was on the billies for the respray)

Love the attention to detail on the car, it's almost a shame to put the wheel on to hide all the nice parts ;)

Looks good, but too flat to me. Looking for something a bit more metallic/pearl. Bear in mind I originally wanted to paint this car brown... Anything could happen yet

Thanks Adam. It's gone beyond the point I was planning, and I'm now loathe to reuse anything rusty or obviously used, even in places where you can't see it. Naomi told me I would have been better just buying parts not a donor car months ago, a few weeks later it seems she's right. All I need to do now is show the same attention to detail with the coupe panel!

Estoril blue? Currently seen on BMW's (again) everywhere, I really like it & think it would suit the VX even more than Coral
