Looks good, but too flat to me. Looking for something a bit more metallic/pearl. Bear in mind I originally wanted to paint this car brown... Anything could happen yet

That's the problem getting this on a picture, as it's actually a pearl color.

Love the attention to detail on the car, it's almost a shame to put the wheel on to hide all the nice parts ;)

Thanks Adam. It's gone beyond the point I was planning, and I'm now loathe to reuse anything rusty or obviously used, even in places where you can't see it. Naomi told me I would have been better just buying parts not a donor car months ago, a few weeks later it seems she's right. All I need to do now is show the same attention to detail with the coupe panel!
Ha ha it can start to take over your life trying to build a "perfect" car but does make sense to clean anything up while it's all in bits. Just don't tell Naomi she's right........you'll never hear the end of it ;)

Not interested in flat or matt paints unfortunately. The latter is just a fashion faux pas waiting to hit us, and the former don't suit the VX shape IMO (unless it's a red, yellow or black)

Along with the rest of the car from what I saw on Tuesday. Will be great when done, not sure I could cope with seeing mine in that many pieces again.

FU all. And no not done yet lol. To be fair, had I started when I originally planned to (nov) it might have been... Spent a few hours there tonight and got a little more done. Back tomorrow as well, since I've been away with work all week. And stu, still more progress on mine this week than yours! :P
