Here is what you need:

ARAB65/67R Air filter lid for standard STAB99XL

WRC Foam Non TNB

STAB99 Extra Long Airbox (TOCAAB long)

RAB65TEMBA Mounting bracket assembly

JDR - 2 Dust Rentension Spray (heavy duty) 200ml

You can have it in CF if you want it.

I can probably organise it if you need me to.

Can you organise it to be cheaper?

What's your price for the above, either as a single buy or group order - PM me if you prefer

In the meantime I'll speak to my ITG contact and see what they say.

I bet you could get a group buy going, on these if it reduces induction noise

I have asked that very question to ITG, but JG may be able to get a larger discount due to 'trader' status.

I know that the STAB99XL with filter is £145+Vat from previous conversations with ITG

And I think everyone who has one has agreed that it has helped with induction noise, though no one is suggesting it is a miracle cure.

I'm never organising a group buy ever again so in the words of Mr Bannatyne, 'I'm Oot' :D

I think they charge about £220 for the above set-up.

The TAT one the final nail in the coffin?

Reminds me, I need to sell one of those - just got to decide which I want for the car.. short round perfect fit, short straight spaced?

Short straight should go well with the coupe rear better.

To be fair, that's kind of why I like them. OEM look.

Personally, and this is my opinion only, I think those that stick out from the clam (any further than about 30-50mm) look fcuking stupid. Unless they're stickered up and racing of course...

How's it going Graeme? Any ideas on when you'll be rolling it out of the garage for it's inaugural outing ? Am looking forward to it.

2015.

Hopefully.

And you're not looking forward to it as much as me. 12 months ago today the car arrived at my place on the back of JJJ's trailor, and my VXT made the journey back to Wales with him to its new owner. Project started properly in March 2014 (engine removed) so by end of March 2015 I better be damn close to driving the thing.

All the best projects take a year at least, anything less would indicate haste! LOL

Ok I'm going to throw it open to the panel, since a definitive list of what I need for this car's fuel system doesn't seem completely forthcoming (plus advice from various corners is now just confusing me).

So I've been looking at JG's diagram, shown here

Posted Image

I'll be adding a swirl pot to this set up, so on top of the above fittings what will I need?

I reckon I need

One female 150

One female 180

Two female 90

Two female straight

One AN-6 quick connect 3/8" female fuel line adaptor

One AN-6 quick connect 5/16" female fuel line adaptor

Two fuel rail adaptors (not sure what these are actually?)

And some form of inline fuel filter?

For the last item I've seen mention of these in a couple of threads, in relation to their filtering properties (I think measured in microns) and wondering what size etc I actually need?

Obviously I need some actual fuel lines as well, for which I was reckoning on a two metres of braided hose. Do you think this will be enough? Also, I was wondering whether anyone had any experience of the push on hose like this http://www.thinkauto...ittings_43.html

I'll admit I'm not 100% sold on the bling braided hose look, so the above in black might be a better solution in terms of aesthetics. Plus I hear the braided hose can cause problems when it's undone and re-fitted continually?

Any help on the above greatfully received folks. (mainly because I'm not quite sure what I'm doing, and as well all know getting the fuel lines wrong could be catastrophic).

G

Do you need a swirl pot? Didn't think you were planning for much more than ~300bhp...

Here is my list from a while back but only to the filter is that helps. http://www.vx220.org...e-and-fittings/ The important bit to get is the 2 adaptors for the fuel rail which you have to order from USA, there not cheap aswell at £60 plus with import fees ect.

if you get braided hose all I did was buy this stuff http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171392668553 to cover it. Never got round to fitting yet tho. Braided is better then the black lookalike braided hose when I remember reading about it.
