Keep the metal lines at the fuel rail and bend them to change the routing. Then join your bling/non-bling hose to them. More reliable, does away with the need for leaky adapters and means you still have the pressurised bleed valve. Not sure whether the later style B207 fuel rail might have more aftermarket friendly fuel rail inlet/outlets fittings.

Do you need a swirl pot? Didn't think you were planning for much more than ~300bhp...

I have a harrop. I'm aiming high

You getting a baffled tank? If so I wouldn't bother with the swirl pot.

^ that. And if your use some quality 3/8" and 8mm fittings (I used Swagelok) with a metal hose insert, you can directly connect the OEM plastic hoses to the rail lines.

PS; the newer B207 rail does not really fit well with an SC...

I have stayed with the 2.2 rail fuel lines on my new B207 2.0 set up, with a pro alloy tank with internal baffle.

The 90 degree fittings Torques sell on eBay seem to give a bit more breathing space than the straight ones used to thumbsup

Is the car in a state to be moved to the other unit?

Depends on your interpretation of 'state to be moved'

But suspension is all there, and in theory it's able to be rolled anywhere - with wheels fitted (currently only on the front).

Though it's not yet going to the other unit, as its moving only a few hundred yards to have the exhaust sorted.

Hmmmm, one month on and it's nearly slipped to page 2.

I'd like to say it's up and running etc, but it's not. I do have a crappy iphone pic of the engine and box in the chassis though. So there is some progress.

Anyway, AFAIA the exhaust has now been completed. We just need to have it tested, both in terms of noise and performance (this will be done on another already dyno'd Harrop'd car) and if it works out ok Matt will make up a second one and fit one to my car.

I've also been over to see the boys at Relentless, who will doing the bodywork, to discuss some Coupe details. Ash's dad is making a plug/mould for integrating the decklid/bootlid into the coupe panel and for it all to work properly. Will be end of Jan/Feb before this makes serious progress though.

In the meantime (well, since August) I've been buying more bits for it. Not sure the shopping list is ever going to end on this car...

I'll let the pics do the talking though...

Fuel bits first...

Braided hose for oil and fuel

And 'some' more

And the laminova oil/water cooler

Big thanks to JG for his contacts at Think Auto for most of thos bits. Much appreciated mate (still fcuking expensive for what is there!) chinky chinky

I also became a bit of a vulture a week or two ago. In fairness, he came to me with the offer of bits, and I made sure that there was no chance he was going to finish the project - I'd have rather seen him finish it than for me to benefit from him not. But in the end, I did buy some bits of Joe. Thank god he went with orange stitching on his interior...

First up a new tow-eye mount

Posted Image

'A seal'

Posted Image

Some 'edging trim'. No idea what this is actually for... but seemingly Vocky had the other packs, so it must be somethign good!

Posted Image

Some carbon turbo sills, and turbo pockets (which are far more useful for putting things in than the NA ones). Used, with couple of scratches but still very presentable

Posted Image

Some of Steffen's 2-pot rear mounts (Got spot callipers on the way for handbrake mech). Clearly my OCD won't let me use those bolts, so they'll be replaced

Posted Image

A pair of new tubby ear grilles

Posted Image

Some DTT replica mats, which are superb. I'm actually using a turbo footrest so the pass side won't fit mine (these are NA sized) so might sell these and get Dave to make me some more

Posted Image

Pair of new Carbon turbo ears, to go with the above grilles

And some more of DTT's work originally intended for Joe's car

Forward tunnel (might keep my ali one actually and sell this on)

Sterring column and binnacle

Shoulder pads

transmission tunnel and cup holder

Dash plates

and dash

Which basically only leaves my seats do do now. All the stitching is orange btw, even if it looks a little red on the pics. Not all of the above is to my taste, so may mix and match a few bits and sell on the stuff I don't use since this is all duplicate to what I have supplied DTT already.

And now for some stuff that didn't come from Joe...

New steering wheel boss from Eliseshop, since the eBay one I had already didn't seem to fit.

Posted Image

Some rear light lenses from GMS

Posted Image

Had this brand new in primer OEM turbo ear, but will be selling it since I now have the pair of carbon ones pictured above

Posted Image

Posted Image

As Techie predicted, I couldn't resist the bling and bought some brand-new four-pots also... (hence the adaptors for 2 pots on rear)

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

They came with some pads but suspect I'll sell these and use some Pagid as originally planned with the two pots

Posted Image

Posted Image

Some of Tom's headlight lenses

Posted Image

Some Siemens 630cc injectors and fuel rail etc

Four brand new bonnet grilles. Obviously I only need two so will put others up for sale in new year I think

Posted Image

Some new sill protector stickers (also off Joe actually)

Posted Image

And of course the ITG air filter from the group buy

Well the bracket

Posted Image

And the actual filter

Posted Image

And that, I think is about it.

Dropping fueling parts off with Matt on Monday, in the hope that between him and Lee the car will be mechanically running just into the new year. Thens it's EMU ecu time and some mapping. Also need a Lee-style core off Pro Alloy to keep intake temps 'a bit more sensible'.

I'll have the pads if you don't use them.

I outbraked pretty much everything at spa into the first chicane and really like the feel of the DS2500.
