RS4-2s i reckon thumbusp

RS14s a bit more aggressive but more expensive too and most people say they can't really tell the difference

I've got a front and rear set of RS14 waiting to go on my car, mainly because I got both sets for around £120 total.

By the way, given that you're the part number expert, any idea what the part numbers are for both RS42 and RS14 in BBK size?

I hated my RS14's. Felt like you were braking with blocks of wood until they got properly hot (track hot) when they felt a bit better. RS4-2's were a better all round pad but squealed like a pig from Deliverance around town.

I like my RS14s, but it is similar to what Matt says about them working best when hot.

Nah, there's some ginger guy selling them cheap on ebay. Periodically has them listed, worth searching for elise/exige brake pads.

Can't help with the part numbers however

RS19's front, RS14's rear on mine and I couldn't want for better braking. The distribution and bite is fantastic and having an endurance pad up front with an aggressive on rear means you need little time to make work.

So no one can agree which Pagid pads are the best then lol :D :D :D

Anyway, few pics of the latest bits to arrive, or those that I missed off previously.

Bosch water pump for chargecooler system off eBay

Set of brand new Lotus fitment four point Schroth harnesses to replace the five points I had previously. Malcolm at MSAR did me a very good deal and was a pleasure to deal with.

Got a choice of sill plates to use on the new car, the JonBetts one which will need a sticker to liven them up a little bit, and some others from eBay with vx220 already cut out of them - they are a fair bit smaller though so not sure yet.

More importantly the Federal 595 RS-r tyres appeared from www.tyreleader.co.uk who were excellent. See here http://www.vx220.org...tyreleadercouk/ for my review of the service. But suffice to say they arrived quickly, were around £60 cheaper than the other best price and I'm pretty happy - all four were only £365 delivered and were all manufactured within the last 12 months so not just old stock or anything. Hopefully they'll impress just as much when they're on the car

Use the small sill plates as a template to etch the logo on to the large plates. Sorted.

Nope, might try and sort it out with Ian at the weekend - think it's at his mum's in Dunstable at the moment.

I am now back at work, well working from home, so have other things to do :P   . I also need to decide what I'm doing with 4 and 2 pots anyway. And no one gave a me definitive answer about which Pagid pads we want. When you agree I might look into it further ;)

Ok lol.

It's a walnut block from Howdens. Chosen for the simple reason that Naomi wasn't keen (too scared) on mixing wood shades throughout the house and this was the perfect match for the Walnut worktops (not real) that we chose for the kitchen. (pic taken before it was finished, hence no tiling and yellow protective wrap on cooker hood etc)
