Raw numbers are the same as the one he posted a few weeks back, so while the graphs are more defined, there's a clear issue above 5.5k

I made 335pk with the same pulley and 395nm torque. That was with a blowing exhaust which was throwing the lambda's out. Peak power was at 6600rpm.

The weird thing is, it's such a clean graph that it reminds me of any ECU limited power curve, as if it were limiting fuelling or ignition.

As we know, your spec is probably the closest to mine - save for exhaust and ECU etc really (plus my sandwich plate) so will be interested to see what your new figure is when exhaust not blowing etc.

You need to find out if your compression ratio changed with the forged pistons Matt fitted. That will have a direct effect on your power as less compression will lower the figures but with less heat as a bonus. Tullets exhaust repacking system decided to undo itself and slide apart on track. Not having much luck with my exhaust systems. currently being re packed and upgraded while I sun myself on the old honeymoon. ;) Not long now Graeme for you. :)

Does the lambda change above 5500 rpm?

If not, i'd want to fit a different charger without the sandwich plate.

why?

Chill got his 2.5" exhaust system above 300 (just), so I don't think the 2.5" manifold is to blame. The rest of the exhaust is unknown. As is your combination of charger and plate. My bias says it's the plate, because I don't think making the inlet manifold any more restrictive is a good idea.

also, is it painted yet?

Not sure about Lambda changing above 5,500rpm. All I know is my AFR at WOT was 12.3. according to Sam who mapped it.

Are you happy with the results G?

After the original map, with the turbo-like torque delivery, I said to Matt I'd be happy with the peak numbers (320bhp) as long as the curve evened out ab it more and looked more traditionally supercharged. Until I actually drive it (and it has some on the road mapping) I can't really comment on whether I'm happy or not though.

Yes numbers are the same, but less boost with larger pulley this time. When the new pulley was attached it was still running rather rich and made less, so this graph is when the fuelling has been tweaked. Matt is confident it will make more power when a smaller pulley is used. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

Regarding the sandwich plate, Lee used one also and I don't think he found it to be causing a restriction?

Indeed. I don't know what compression the engine is running at. We really need Matt to come on here and comment to confirm. Keep enjoying the honeymoon - I'm just at the point of enjoying hating paying the balance of all the bills.... (for the wedding, not the car!)

Mine was never RR tested but when running back to back with more powerful cars it was comparable so im confident it was running 305 HP + and had a larger 3.1 pulley and had a AFR of 11.8  with a M62 charger

And we all know that different rolling roads give different numbers too... For now I think we need to move onto the next stage and sort bodywork

Well that won't be until 2016 as it doesn't make any sense to do anything with it earlier - especially in terms of insurance.

Sadly, there are mechanical and installation issues that need rectifying first. Therefore bodywork only progressing in background.
