I'm hazarding a guess it's to do with paint protection, so if so probably zero miles.

Ah yes, am looking fwd to a good write up and some pics. I wonder if Graeme will be frank and honest about some of the unprofessional let downs he's had...

Sadly it's not due to the paint protection...

And yes, no miles on it. Re the mapping, I'll come back to you on that Steve...

Nev, I'll be Frank and honest when it's all done and dealt with. Some have been absolutely fantastic, others have been woeful and I'll report factually from that point of view.

Cool, be careful though, objective and factual info isn't always taken well here !

Two steps forward, one step back.

Car was essentially ready to be picked up, but on road test snapped a gear cable.

So, hoping to have new cables fitted early next week and pick it up, and finally get it home.

Just need to clear a load of Saab parts out the garage first!

So it's basically been as close as it's ever been - just one part remaining, which should arrive with B.O.T tomorrow. Once that's fitted, in theory, I can finally take the patient home.

Which means I need to sort some insurance (and good old tax). It's been a while, but any recommendations beyond CCI, Henderson Taylor, Classicline and REIS (If they're back to taking on VX custom)?

I'm going through the insurance mire at the moment. The answer (for me at least) is Classic Line - less than half the HT renewal premium.

How modified? Think that (and my Ferrari-induced 6 points) may count against me here

Schnitzel or something was the username of the guy from SELOC who ran/owned it or something?

Ah maybe not, that's the Twitter handle of Dicky H. Might have the wrong Lotus person... :ninja:

The usual; SC, Miltek and tullet manifold, nitrons, 4-pots, wheels...etc. I've got the Evora on the same policy.

Rich has left 1answer and theyve been getting a bit of a slating on Seloc. There seemed plenty of confusion with regard to no claims as some of their providers wouldnt recognise NCB
