Rich has left 1answer and theyve been getting a bit of a slating on Seloc. There seemed plenty of confusion with regard to no claims as some of their providers wouldnt recognise NCB
Thanks Rob, clears things up a bit. Had seen some of the slatings on SELOC.
Guess they're still worth a go though, so I'll try and give them a call tomorrow.
Managed a quote from CCI today, which was reasonable, but they (now just Footman James in reality) didn't inspire massive confidence when discussing the car. circa £500, £553 if I want to add commuting, which I probably do. Including 6 track days and RAC breakdown cover, 4,000 miles a year.
That's based on 8 years NCD though, and I fear that as I last insured this car with Classicline (who don't use no claims) that I won't have any proof of this that hasn't lapsed since I have the VXT, which I sold at the end of Nov 2013...
Have contacted Classicline, who at least asked the right sort of questions and should have quote back from them tomorrow. Will have to try REIS, 1Answer and Matt@Henderson Taylor tomorrow I guess.
