Do not buy it back. You cannot repair these chassis. The construction is unique and very difficult, I would say impossible, to attempt yourself.

Bodyshop didnt write the car of, just the vaule of repair was £7000 using genuine oem parts and was £1000 over what the insurance was willing to pay!

They were incorrect. The chassis has been damaged, you can't bond the chassis correctly without putting the whole car into an oven, you can't weld it without weakening it, you can't straighten it without weakening it.
The door mount has been pushed into the door, this has bent the entire structure which is not only part of the chassis, but a load bearing component. Given that your car is relatively standard, your best option is to scrap the car and buy another.
Area circled in purple is damaged. It is not repairable, nor should it be repaired, it will compromise the strength of the entire chassis.

Buy it back cheap, turn it in to a track slag.. sell off all the bits you remove to make it lighter..

If the door mount damage is as bad as stated then would you REALLY want to track a car with a compromised chassis?

We can't see the actual damage to the chassis.
All we see is that the bolted doorhinge has been ripped out of the allow. To see the state of the alloy, the sill needs to come off.

no, the door hinge should stick outwards like the picture of the bare chassis above, this one has been smashed backwards bending the actual alloy cross member which held the hinge, so quite some impact
