Glad you walked away from that mess, shows how tough they are. Car in the air roll smash roll smash and you need two ibuprofen and no cuts ! You jammy sod. Nice one. Amazing the screen didn't smash. The vultures are now gathering, trust me  After my little bump the Police did me for driving without due care and attention initially. Fingers crossed they don't bother with your crash.

If id just seen the pics with no description I would have thought this had been a fatal accident. Very lucky to walk away without a scratch but also great awareness to try keeping your head below the roll bar while all that was going on. Those pics will definitely make me drive a little more cautiously. Until spring time at least.

Police didn't attend the scene, fire engine did but promptly left. The highways officer oversaw vehicle removal by tow truck, weren't interested in collecting bits so I was rounding them all up. 3 lights crushed one salvaged. Insurance buy back was ridiculous at £ 2,750 plus. So good luck with getting value from Copart, the engine took a fair old whack so not sure what could be salvaged. I must thank Powertrain for his support from the scene. Ghand - lost all bearings but not sure which direction roll was in as front dug into soft ground. Muddy grass followed by clean untouched grass before where its ended up suggest rolls were airborne, hence no glass damage. Rolls were smooth and this would match with what witnesses briefly said at the scene. Thanks for the kind words and hopefully I'll attend National as a spectator and be back in a few years.

Well done for sharing and great that you're ok.

It can only take a cats eye for a powerful rear drive car to let go, you really have to avoid them when on a motorbike.

Where did you get your quick release rear clam fixings from? :gayfight:

on a serious note.  Glad you walked away, despite all the tree hitting etc the cabin is untouched

Very strange you had no police, I had about 5 cars at my bump. I thought if an ambulance is called to an RTA the police always attend.

Jasesaint, I am so sorry for your loss. I feel sad seeing these pictures. Just thank god you lived to tell the tale. Once again, this makes me think when driving the car at this time of the year. Take care mate, Jon

I think most services were cancelled as no injuries etc. It was strange how straight forward it all was. Cheers guys

I see, well even more good luck then,(well after the initial bad luck) no driving without due care and attention prosecution like they wanted for me.

I would still class a traffic officer (as seen in your pics) as being the police.

That's ridiculous that the first thing they think about is trying to do you for something!! Al

Yes came to my house while I was still bleeding  and told me they are prosecuting. Was given a £130 full day driving course option or a court case. It was only when I denied the charge by letter and asked them to look into it further and they got the police crash investigators involved they dropped the charge and put mechanical failure as the reason. That's debatable on here and rightly so, although seeing the car would give you more information to base you're views on but the main thing is I got off the charge. .

That looks like a horrific accident you are very very lucky to get out of that uninjured but I'm glad you did just shows how strong the tub is.It makes mine at the national look like a small bump and my car was class cat b so not sure how that is classed as a cat c.
