I picked up a yellow VX220 a couple of weeks ago, however due to the weather I've only recently managed to drive her properly and get some pictures!

First impressions are very good, car is great with the roof off especially with the VSE popping away!

A cheeky picture of the dirty VX:

Hopefully won't be dirty for long with this lot to use:

Yesterday with the break in the rain I set about cleaning the interior of the car. Usually when i get a new vehicle I try and do a fairly deep clean to get it about 80% of the way there then as I revisit it each subsequent clean I focus in on little imperfections until it's 100%.

A few before pictures, general dirt:

Seats looking a little dull:

Under the mats looking a little dirty:

All the bits and pieces I cleared out of it:

So first things first, a quick hoover with this bad boy:

I ended up using a separate animal specific hoover as well to get some of the more soiled areas lifted. After hoovering I washed down the interior metal, just using fairy to get the worst of it sorted:

Brush for the nooks and cranies, about 20p from Aldi:

Looking much cleaner:

Filthy water:

I know you're new, but the top picture of your "dirty" VX is actually a picture of a clean one  Looks good though!!

After a rinse out the water was pretty grubby:

Nice touch ;)

Time to get these boys out - I use these as I have them around. I've not found anything better yet. I'll take a few more snaps once the leather has cured for 48 hours as recommended:

For a bit of fun I thought I would treat the wallet as well:

More to come later! I'll reply to all the comments after work as well.

Jesus...looking at all your cleaning products you sure like to clean em up and do a proper job. What are your first thoughts on the VX? Is it your daily driver?

Rick, I have more cleaning products than that. Don't judge a man's love for cleaning his car on the quantity of his cleaning products
