My thoughts:

Not currently - as both cars are on private property, however the minute the one that should have a different set of plates on leaves the drive then yes that car will be illegal.

I have one number plate for two cars - you can do that in Switzerland and save on road tax. You can't have both cars on the road at the same time though, but then I can only drive one car at a time. :)

BTW - the way you park your cars I'm guessing either you don't have a front passenger,

or you do but you don't like them very much?

Rover!!???? Its a MG. Rear wheel drive with 4.6 Litres of Ford Mustand V8 under the bonnet. :P   And the Renault....First time I've ever owned one but this thing handles. Floor all 250bhp off a damp roundabout and it just sticks. It reckon it'd give the VX a run for its money. Only costs £300 to get it too 300+bhp too! Cup suspension (rock hard) and LSD make it handle. Power delivery puts the VX turbo to shame too. Doesn't feel like a turbo at all.

can either of those cars fit in those garages?

I think the perspective of the camera makes the cars look bigger in relation to the garages.   The Renault would. The Mg...maybe just. I do have a lot of kitchen units at the end of the garage so if the garage was OEM then yes.   As it is the VX is on the Renault side and the other side has.......stuff!

BTW - the way you park your cars I'm guessing either you don't have a front passenger, or you do but you don't like them very much?

Its to give room for the long Renault doors. The MG is Sorn at the mo and I have the old/original plates for it in the garage. They are now officially belonging to the Renault. My current daily driver (a 14 yr old Corsa) goes in front of the MG.

Both great cars Paul, would take the Reno out in the wet and the MG for dry days.

I found the Reno traction was shocking though on the RS cars, is the Megrane the same as the Clio and littler one whose name I forget. Felt like it was going to kill me on track.

I like the cut and shut idea, it will  be a bit like the James May limo. World meet the Rovault. (sorry but it is just a rover with an MG badge  :P  ).
