The only reason she has qtrly scans is because she was classed as a trial patient back in 2014...
We have been asked several times if we wanted to drop to yearly scans... I guess the decision to stick to qtrly has paid off now in some respect, else we might have had 1yr of growth before noticing at which point it might have been too late?
Who knows, we can only deal with the info we have now right?
Thanks for all the messages, means a lot.
Will keep you all updated when we know more.

Bit of a bump today after the high of yesterday being my birthday and getting the new Elise.
We saw the surgeon today, he's keen to operate caveated by the risks of course.
Looking at surgery before end of the month, just awaiting theatre space etc
He's confident surgery followed by chemo is the best course of action and one that we're happy to take his advice on.
He believes it to be a 5-6hr operation to attack the tumour, so a lengthy time under general anaesthetic but Alex is relatively strong and healthy so that's why we going to give it a shot rather than sit and do nothing.
Keep us in your thoughts and I'll update when I know more.
