So sad to read this news, my heart goes out to you and the girls.

You did everything you could to make Alex's remaining time as comfortable as possible whilst fighting the inevitable.

A sobering thought for all of us to value our family and friends while we can.

So we had the funeral on Friday, had some attendees from this parish, for which I’m extremely grateful, especially given the weather conditions.

The girls both spoke to a full church, they are superb.

I’ve now decided to start a Facebook and Instagram blog for our journey as a three now.

The GoFundMe page hit £6,500 and so I’ve put that money aside for special treats, days away for the girls etc. They will be recorded on the blog as well.

All just amazing, they are such a credit to you.  What I like most about this clip though is that wonderful pic of Alex before she became ill, that huge, radiant smile, beautiful!  Now I can see her like that rather than as she became as the illness took over her life.
