Hi folks !
Great to see an actual forum about the VX. Prefer BBS's to mailing lists myself.
I'll visit this one regularly to see how the "Speedster with the strange badge" gets discussed here.
I'm probably the strangest contributor so far as - even though I owned the thing for 12 months now - I've never actually driven it ! 
Car was bought for my wife, and I just can't get in (6'7") which is a bit of a bummer.
So I have to settle with my jap thingie
Good luck with the BBS, and maybe see you around on one of the UK track days !

Seat/pedal distance was not adequate for nut/steering wheel interface
It took me (no joke) about 3 minutes to get in, and then it was impossible to drive it (I could change gear with my knees though).
My revenge was to have OMP "Big" seats welded to the Impreza though 
She can't get to the pedals
I really feel bad about that because after all I still think the VX is a brilliant car.
