Ha ha! Sounds very familiar, exactly what I did late last year :up (the thumbup works on seloc btw, just getting you assimilated)So, what do you get after owning something that shoves you down the road.... Naturally something more expensive....slower....may cost more to run and even more agricultural. Yes, logic truly went out the window

Tomorrow I'll get some proper driving done in it, heading over to BoT in the Morning but will get some nice roads on the way back to Orangeland.
Initial impressions are as per my test drive; love it. I actually enjoy it's unique characteristics, the unservo'd brakes, the way it vomits fuel back at you, how hot the cabin gets and this isn't even a warm day...(now I know why I wear shorts alot!)
And it's properly loud, I don't miss the turbo shove as much as I thought. For all the cliches out there, it feels alot purer to drive, the feel is there and nimbleness. I guess when you're not lugging pig iron it helps! So far I'm smitten and am incredibly lucky to have got this car...we'll see where this one goes.

What happens when it vomits fuel back at you? You mean it has that 80s Rover V8 (my 1st car) odour? Mmmmm.
The incessant heat + shorts? By late August you will have learned to love the smell of your own sweaty balls. Either that or you will discover carbon-odour eater pants (as I have).
I really want a MK1 Exige now.
You lucky sod.

A very nice piece of kit in an excellent colour, and a appreciating asset, a very good move Bobby
Oh and I haven't been on here for a while, but I've now realised how much I miss Silent Steve
P.S. Bobby If your passing my way anytime pop in for a cuppa (I'm a man of leisure at the mo)
