tbh, if a person of a neferious (spelling) character is going to take the lights or any other part of a car, they wont need to have it confirmed on a forum bit like everyone shitting themselves over what the magic button on a turbo does.

As a tubby owner i've never understood the panic over the "magic button" it does sod all really.
Lets hope fezzusus isn't far off production, you could always put up a thread and see if anyone has some spare headlights you could loan until you get yourself sorted. Is it your daily driver?

The headlights are certainly an issue, but what damage has been done to the clam?

This could be written off if going through insurance. Need to be very careful how it is resolved.

Whilst It surprises me that its taken this long for thefts to start it still represents a serious degree of wankness and I'm gutted for the OP

Wouldn't any insurance claim write the car off ?

Clam repairs + 2 headlights possibly. Replace clam + 2 headlights definitely 2 headlights on their own, no repair work - definitely not.Wouldn't any insurance claim write the car off ? 2x headlights
