Mine was powdered coated 3 years ago and the engine is running smooth Bad luck wheel bro .......

Cheers Chris will see how it goes think I'll struggle getting engine out and in on my own all other stuff should be ok only things on my vx I've not changed is engine and box. My butt resides in Leighton Buzzard 5 mins from Graeme Lambert and not far from Cliffies old house.

Are you putting the harrop on and Dutch software at the same time as engine change??

No will just be engine swap now can't afford anything else will have to put standard flywheel back in as well

Also if you keeping the saab oil cooler you will need a few cooling hoses

I'm probably going to keep the old one but I'll pm you about that once the whole idea of engine swap has sunk in a bit more.

If I was doing it again I would keep z22se setup the saab one turned into a royal pain in the arse and the pipe work looks like a birds nest

tbh engine was on it's last legs anyway just glad it happened 1 mile from home and in the daylight. Just bad timing as Croft is coming up soon. hence the urgency to get it sorted.

I take it your engine is getting run in on the way to croft, Mineral oil will need ordering

Do an oil change once run in. You have loads of time though dude only takes a long day!
