Hi,

I'm looking for a new set of front brake discs - My car (turbo) has the optional factory radial drilled (curved pattern ) discs and I would like to replace the fronts with the same to match the rears  ( which are unworn) and keep the OEM look - can anyone point me in the right direction ? - I've found slotted and drilled, and "straight" line drilled discs, but not the curved pattern.

[I know I don't need drilled discs, they eat pads, or SupaGTi whatever is better, Please guys,  I don't want to get into that why bother debate,  I'd just like some help from the experts out there in identifying where I can get quality replacements for these particular discs, or a  part number.]

Thanks in anticipation,

Paul

The upgrade discs are good but expensive. They are about £500 a pair from vauxhall or £300 from lotus ( Europa upgrade discs). These are about 2kg lighter than std and have much better cooling. So they are not just drilled std discs.

Better than Tim's option?

Of course. Less unsprung weight and better disc cooling. Would you notice any difference on the road? No. Would you notice the difference in your wallet? Probably.

Brembro tend to radially drill their discs, and they 'tend' to be cast in drillings which is also good :)
