either work. Butyl tape has the advantage of being adjustable while PU adhesives are not. My concern with butyl tape is there are a lot of different types on the market and some melt at a very low temperature - the stuff sold by Elise Parts should be fine.

I found the stuff the elise shop sold was very good. They give just enough for two lenses but a little bit more would have made things easier so I would buy 2 next time.
