Fitted a strip of 1mm self adhesive foam when I reseated my lights. Just ran out so I am trying to find where I bought it to do the same to the new light lenses. Had to buy a 2m x 1m sheet last time to get 1mm thick. 3mm thick is easy to get, but not thinner stuff. If anyone has a link to some thin self adhesive go am that will be great.

Yes it does need to be thin or easily compressed.  I had a go with draught excluder but it was way too thick.

Try a double glazing supplier, as they normally sell 1mm double sided foam tape.

I still haven't test fitted the other side, i've offered it up and it appears to fit well, however I want to test two different lens bonding materials so i'm resisting fitting the other side until the other material arrives.

thinking about the tolerance between the light housing and the clam , so it sits really snug , maybe the 3mm thick stuff ?

tom, do you know who wants these as lenses and who is waiting for them to be done with the completed unit?

any kind of idea when the complete unit will be started?

He's getting pissed in a field in France at the moment. Don't expect a reply or the complete units any time soon.

Update: One small quality issue has been addressed (very minor, however I wouldn't want to have 200 odd lenses with the same issue). Production should start soon.
